The Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing emergency services to Pawlet, Vermont. We conduct fire suppression, rescue, and other emergency response operations at a moment’s notice, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We are responsible for a 25 square mile district, encompassing the eastern half of Pawlet. We also provide fire protection and emergency response to surrounding fire districts through mutual aid. We are an all-volunteer organization, but we pride ourselves on providing professional service. We are always looking for new volunteers, and we rely on our community’s financial support as well.
