This Saturday, the PVFD’s doors will be open for Vermont’s 2nd Annual “Operation Mayday” statewide open-firehouse day.

Wondering what goes on at your local volunteer fire department? Interested in learning if this unique service opportunity might be for you? Come on down this Saturday, May 11th from 9am to 1pm for our no-pressure, no commitments open house. It’s a chance to meet our crew, see our gear, and learn about what we do! If you are interested in what you see, we’ll answer any questions you have and show you the next steps towards becoming a part of our team. If you’re not sure, no worries– we’ll thank you for visiting, and you’ll walk away knowing more about your community fire department.

Come to learn more, or just come for a visit. Kids and grown-ups who just want to see some fire trucks are welcome!

The firehouse is located at 155 Vermont Route 133 in Pawlet village, just east of Rt. 30.
